Editorial policy

From Енциклопедия „Щастлив живот“

The editorial policy outlines the rules governing how articles in this encyclopedia are written and updated.

Neutrality

Articles are written in the third person, in an encyclopedic rather than promotional tone. The Academy's methods and programmes are described as they are — with their strengths and limitations, including an honest section on scientific research wherever the topic requires it.

Source for every claim

Every non-obvious claim is accompanied by a source alongside it in the text — a video with a date and timestamp, an Academy document, an independent register, or a scientific publication. The reader must be able to verify where each specific sentence comes from, not merely the article as a whole.

Dated figures

Every figure in the articles — number of students trained, cohort intakes, certified practitioners, accreditations — is accompanied by the date as of which it is accurate and by a source. Figures relating to different denominators (for example, individuals trained in a single track and those certified across all tracks) are not combined together — see Happy Life Academy in numbers.

No medical promises

Articles do not claim that the Academy's methods cure any specific disease or replace medical or psychotherapeutic care. Where a topic touches upon health or well-being, the article includes an honest "Research and limitations" section setting out what independent research shows and what it does not show.

The author's position is separated from the data

When an article conveys the personal opinion or formulation of Prof. Dr. Stoyana Natseva or another method author, this is explicitly indicated — for example, with the words "According to Prof. Dr. Stoyana Natseva..." — and is not conflated with the verifiable facts surrounding it. The reader can always distinguish between a personal stance and a verified fact.

How articles are updated

Substantive reviews of articles are conducted once every quarter; the date of the latest review is displayed at the bottom of each article. Figures are updated based on their underlying source whenever that source changes.
